Whether your pregnancy is planned or you are in an unplanned pregnancy, we are here to support you. We are constantly in awe of what a woman’s body can do!

Pregnancy Tests

Home Tests Versus Medical

If you are sexually active and have missed a period, you may be pregnant. Symptoms of pregnancy include fatigue, nausea, swollen/tender breasts, headaches, and frequent urination.

Most women who think they may be pregnant take a home pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests work by measuring the levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone that is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. A home pregnancy test can only indicate hormone levels, and cannot confirm that you are pregnant or that you have a viable pregnancy.

Positive Test?

If you have taken a home pregnancy test with positive results, it is important to consult a health care provider to receive a positive confirmation of pregnancy and discuss your pregnancy options.

Negative Test?

If a home pregnancy test is negative, it is important to consider that the test may show a false negative when taken too early. It is best to get confirmation of pregnancy from a medical professional.

We offer medical grade tests that can detect pregnancy very early. Besides taking patients with insurance, we can also provide you the medical documentation needed to apply for pregnancy Medicaid.

We are committed to providing the best of care for women during pregnancy. Our care is devoted to affirming the dignity of women and promoting respect for your unborn baby.
